Beijing In the hockey event of the Asian Games, Pakistan started brilliantly and defeated Singapore by 11 goals to zero.  Arshad Liaquat and Arbaaz Khan scored hat-tricks for Pakistan.

 In their first match of the ongoing Asian Games hockey event in Hangzhou, China, Pakistan won against Singapore by a huge margin of 0-11. The Pakistani team scored only 1 goal in the first quarter, but in the remaining 3 quarters, they outplayed their opponents.  Rained goals against. Arshad Liaquat and Arbaaz Ahmed scored hat-tricks on behalf of Pakistan, Abdul Waheed Rana, Afraz, Abdul Rehman, Imad and Safian Khan scored the rest of Pakistan's goals.

Thousands killed in Afghanistan earthquake: 'All houses collapsed in the first shock'

According to the official figures of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, the death toll from Saturday's earthquake in Herat province has exceeded 2,050. Kha n   Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid wrote on X that a total of 2,053 people were killed in 13 villages in Herat, according to figures from the Ministry of Natural Disaster Management.  According to Mujahid, more than 1200 people were injured and around 1300 houses were completely destroyed.  On the other hand, there are local reports that the death toll from the earthquake has reached 'about 2500'.
