Umrah pilgrims of Sialkot stuck at Karachi Airport for 7 hours finally left for Jeddah

 




The Umrah pilgrims of Sialkot, who were stuck at Karachi Airport for 7 hours, left for Jeddah by an alternative flight.  The Boeing 777 aircraft was made an emergency landing at the Karachi airport after the PIA flight PK 745 was reported to have caught fire.


 300 elderly passengers who departed from Sialkot stayed at Karachi Airport for 7 hours.  A fire signal was received yesterday in the Boeing plane of PIA which was landed in Karachi as an emergency.


 A fire signal was received in the cockpit cabin of the aircraft registered APBMS while en route from Jeddah to Sialkot.  Flight PK 746 was diverted back to Jeddah shortly after departure.The aircraft was brought to Karachi yesterday after removing the technical problem and then after inspection the aircraft was sent to Sialkot.  The same aircraft was operated for flight PK 745 from Sialkot to Jeddah on Thursday morning.  Today, a fire signal was received in the bunker of a Boeing aircraft, due to which the flight departed from Karachi to Jeddah at 6 pm.
